Adult Cooking with Fire Workshop

Spend time in the woods learning how to cook delicious food over fire.
The day starts with a tour of the Kitchen Garden where you will pick seasonal ingredients to use in your cooking. You will then head to the Spinney for refreshments and to start your cooking workshop.
A typical example of what will be cooked over the day:
- Masala mushrooms with spelt and rye Tunnbröd (flatbread)
- Winter squash soup with freshly Dutch oven baked bread
- Gardener’s pie
- Apple crumble
All allergies/dietary can be catered for, please let us know.
You will use a variety of cooking equipment and styles, including learning how to bake using Dutch ovens. You will also learn how to build a fire, manage it and control the heat. This hands-on session is suitable for adults who want to learn more about outdoor cooking with fire.
No experience is necessary. Lunch and refreshments included. Please bring some food containers with you as there will be things to take home.
