Creative Drawing Workshop – The Flowers of Belmont Gardens

Artist and educator Robert Lamoon continues his 2024 series of creative drawing workshops at Belmont, exploring the delights of the gardens.

In this drawing workshop we will be looking intensely at the diverse range of the garden plants. Lamoon is an experienced teacher, who will encourage your creativity and personal freedom of expression in a gentle supportive fashion.

The course will be intensive but highly rewarding. They are suitable for adults of all abilities.

At the heart of each workshop is a mindful approach to creativity and developing a willingness to make mistakes.

This workshop looks at creative mark making in a free and gestural manner.  A series of carefully designed tasks develop powers of observation.  You will be encouraged to be experimental and explore interesting and varied drawing techniques.

All art materials will be provided as well as tea, coffee and biscuits. Please bring packed lunch and clothing suitable for the weather. Some of the time you will be working outdoors as well as in a marquee.
