What Does This Involve?

During the season (April – September) the House is open for tours on Wednesdays at 11.00am and 1.00pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays at 2.15pm and 3.15pm.

In addition, there are often pre-booked mid-week group tours on Tuesdays or Thursdays during the season and occasionally at other times of the year, as well.

An average tour may be for up 16 people and take just over an hour of your time.

You can guide as little or as often as you like but we would like to hope that guides would be available to do tours three or four times a month.

We will help and support you by providing all you will need to learn about Belmont, its Clocks, the Harris Family and the part they played in the history of Kent, Cricket, Britain and the Empire - all you need is a bit of confidence, a sense of humour and some patience.
