Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing Belmont to life, welcoming our visitors, and sharing their knowledge of the Harris family and the history of the house in a fascinating and enjoyable way.

Volunteering throughout the main visitor season can be for as little as a couple of hours per week. Full training and support will be given.

Walled Garden Update
The Gardens are open, but a small area of the Walled Garden remains inaccessible, this is due to some structural support facing the pinetum. The wall that collapsed has now been cleared and we’re looking forward to the next stage of rebuilding in the coming months.
The Bug Hotel pathway and Library Walk are still partially cordoned off for your safety. Please do not attempt to enter these areas.
All of our beautiful gardens are otherwise fully open and accessible as usual.
Thank you for your continuing patience and understanding as we work to restore the gardens fully.
