This September, Belmont House & Gardens will bid a fond farewell to not just one, but two of our cherished team members. Alongside Graeme, who is retiring after 24 years of being Head Gardener, we will also be saying goodbye to Pete, our Senior Gardener, who has been with us for over 30 years. Together, Graeme and Pete have been the backbone of our gardens, cultivating the beautiful and tranquil gardens that so many visitors have come to cherish.
We consider the partnership between Graeme and Pete to have been extraordinary. Over the years, they have worked as a team, welcoming others to Belmont and have happily shared their expertise, passion, and a deep love for the gardens.
Their retirement marks the end of an era here, their combined experience and dedication have left a lasting legacy that will continue to bloom in every corner of our estate. While we will miss their presence we wish them both love and luck for their future adventures.
