Carve your own honey dipper using green wood, with woodcarver James Robertson. All instruction, tools and materials will be provided for you to create your own unique hand carved ridged honey dipper. James will prepare a blank for you by axing it out; he will demonstrate his amazing axe skills on the day, but you won’t be expected to work with an axe at this level – he will bring pre-prepared blanks so that you can get on with designing and carving your unique honey dipper. Suitable for anyone over 16 with reasonable wrist and hand strength.
James has been carving for 20 years and is a member of Kent Bodgers. He teaches at various venues throughout the south east and is a dedicated green woodworker.
We will be stopping for a break, please bring a packed lunch with you. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
