Join Wild Classroom this summer, where you and your family will cook over a fire during a half-day workshop using fresh produce from the Belmont Kitchen Garden.
On arrival, you’ll head to the kitchen garden to gather the day’s produce, with the chance to explore the garden and meet the Belmont gardening team responsible for growing them.
Next, you’ll head to our outdoor cooking space, where each family will have their own station and equipment to prepare a variety of dishes to cook over the fire using several different techniques.
During these extended sessions, you’ll typically cook and savour 3-4 dishes, all crafted from the freshest local, seasonal ingredients – ensuring your appetites will be satisfied!
After the cooking session, feel free to explore the stunning grounds at Belmont.
The cost is £70.00, which covers registration for two adults and two children aged 4-15. Please note, bookings are non-refundable. Additional participants can join for £15.00 each – please email events@belmont-house.org to arrange this.
All attendees are required to complete a health questionnaire before the event. Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
