The Massey Ferguson 135, manufactured in 1979, was originally from Scotland and was driven the 550-mile journey by our Land Agent, Henry Birch, from Lanarkshire to Belmont in a seven-day epic journey in June 2003, collecting £6,000 in sponsorship along the way.

In more recent years, the Massey has been used for the cricket pitch to pull the gang mowers and hefty rollers across the outfield. The poor tractor was in a sorry state but over the last 2 months it has undergone a thorough renovation, returning it to its former glory. With thanks to staff member Kevin, who has painstakingly restored it and ensured this workhorse has many more years left at Belmont.
