We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Housekeeper to join our team, working approximately 16 hours across 5 days a week in the main house. An interest in heritage and tourism would be an advantage.

Working efficiently both independently and as part of the wider housekeeping and visitor operations team.

Deep cleaning in the closed season.

Follow all guidelines with particular consideration to the historical furniture collection and the delicate nature of many items.

Help to trouble-shoot any maintenance issues that may arise by bringing them to the attention of your manager.

• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Hard working and can self-motivate
• A team player who can also work independently
• The ability to ‘think ahead’ and spot potential challenges and come up with practical solutions and share with the team
• Flexibility
• A high standard of cleaning around a historic collection

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. A uniform is included.
