Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing Belmont to life, welcoming our visitors, and sharing their knowledge of the Harris family and the history of the house in a fascinating and enjoyable way.

Volunteering throughout the main visitor season can be for as little as a couple of hours per week. Full training and support will be given.
Could this be you?
What can we offer you? A chance to meet new people, learn more about your local area and learn new skills. No experience is required, just a passion for sharing with others, enthusiasm and energy.
We currently have volunteering roles which cover

If you are interested and would like some information about our volunteering and employment opportunities, we would be keen to hear from you!
We regret to inform you that Belmont Gardens will remain closed due to significant damage caused by the recent storm. Unfortunately, the Walled Garden wall has sustained substantial damage, and we need to carry out a full inspection to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff.
The good news is that everyone is safe and well, and we’re working hard to assess and address the situation as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We’ll keep you updated as we progress.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
