Housekeeper
Belmont House and Gardens sits at the heart of a 3,000 acre rural estate.
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Housekeeper to join our team, working approximately 16 hours across 5 days a week in the main house. An interest in heritage and tourism would be an advantage.
This role plays a vital part in upholding the high standards of cleanliness across our visitor areas - helping to ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience.

Essential Skills
• Good eye for detail and the ability to work in a calm and methodical manner
• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Hard working and can self-motivate
• A team player who can also work independently
• The ability to ‘think ahead’ and spot potential challenges and come up with practical solutions and share with the team
• Flexibility
• A high standard of cleaning around a historic collection
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. A uniform is included.
Due to our rural location, candidates must have their own transport. Occasional weekend work will be required.
This is a part-time, permanent position.
